When our founder, Nadine Zidani, set out to build a career in sustainability, she encountered a fundamental gap that held back professionals and businesses across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Sustainability education was not built for MENA. The knowledge available was Western-centric, disconnected from local realities, and often confined to expensive academic programs that didn’t offer practical, real-world solutions. Those who wanted to drive impact in the region had nowhere to turn for relevant, accessible, and actionable sustainability knowledge, nor community.
She knew that if she wanted to make a difference, she couldn’t wait for someone else to bridge the gap—she had to build the solution herself.
The journey wasn’t easy. Without a roadmap to follow, she pieced together knowledge through dozens of courses, attending industry events, hands-on experience, and global and regional professional networks.
She realized that sustainability needed a new approach in the region—one that was localized, accessible, and rooted in action.
What started as an idea has now grown into a B Corp-certified digital platform that is transforming sustainability education in MENA.
MENA Impact has become a trusted source of knowledge, partnering with leading organizations to develop high-quality content, expert-led courses, and a thriving community.
Today, it provides businesses, entrepreneurs, and professionals with the tools to embed sustainability into their work—effectively, practically, and with real impact.
MENA Impact isn’t just making sustainability education available—it’s making it actionable and community-driven. It ensures that organizations across the region don’t just learn about sustainability, but actively implement it.
This journey was never about following trends—it was about building a lasting impact. Sustainability is no longer a luxury or an afterthought—it’s a necessity for businesses and societies to thrive.
Through MENA Impact, we are ensuring that the MENA region has the knowledge, networks, and tools to lead the way—on its own terms.
