What is B Corp?
B Corp Certification indicates that a business meets high standards of performance, accountability, and transparency in areas such as employee benefits, charitable giving, and supply chain practices. To achieve certification, a company must:
- Score 80 or above on the B Impact Assessment and pass a risk review.
- Change its corporate governance to be accountable to all stakeholders, not just shareholders, and attain benefit corporation status if available.
- Allow public access to their performance information on their B Corp profile on B Lab’s website.
